Creating your own workouts at home is convenient and budget-friendly, but it can be a bit boring at times. And, for some people (like me) it can be tough to stay motivated through the end.
There are a lot of free workout programs on Instagram (see our favorite here) which are great – but toggling between the video, circuit instructions, and your phone timer can easily break up your momentum. Well… there’s an app for that!
Seconds, a free mobile app, is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, and circuit training workouts. Plug in your moves, the time for each interval, time to rest, add your music, and you are ready to go! The app will tell you (yes, tell you) what move to do, what move is coming up and count down the last few seconds of each move. This is a cool way to energize your workout!
The free version is fine, but if you have a circuit routine you like and want to save, you’ll want to upgrade to the Seconds Pro Interval Timer. The cost is $4.99 and if you think you’ll use it, I really think it’s worth it.
